Margaret James knocked my expectations out of the park. From the moment Rebecca arrived she was enthusiastic about the day and considerate of everyone’s emotions; she really makes you feel so special. She captured moments of the ceremony I didn’t think were possible.
Leading up to your wedding, each couple receives a wedding day questionnaire to complete. The information in this form will include family formals, family dynamics, special requests and meaningful moments to be anticipated. We will see that your priorities are honored and nothing is missed.
Working with a select number of couples per year allows us to be devoted to your extraordinary love story; providing the quality, care and attention that each couple deserves.
We appreciate the thought that our couples put into the tiny details of their wedding day. When you’re planning your big day, you’re told no one will notice those details. While that sometimes rings true, you will remember. You’ve spent so much time making sure those details come together flawlessly. To not pay attention to the tiniest of details would be a disservice to our couples.

INQUIRY & CONSULTATION
The Process
Upon inquiry, you will receive the initial pricing information and a link to schedule a 30-minute consultation with us. We will talk through wedding details and we will answer any questions you may have about the Margaret James Wedding Experience.
BOOKING & PLANNING
In order to secure your date, a signed contract and retainer are required. Once those items are received you are officially a Margaret James couple.
ENGAGEMENT SESSION
After working together to choose the perfect location and plan out the details of your session, we will meet at the selected location. Rebecca will guide you throughout the entire session, creating keepsakes that illuminate your genuine love and personalities.
WEDDING DAY
From beginning to end, our goal is to make your wedding experience as effortless and enjoyable as possible. We'll be there to capture all of the intimate moments and details, leaving you with tangible memories that tell your extraordinary love story.

Q. What is your photo and video style?
We strive to achieve timelessness with our edits so your memories age gracefully. Our approach is both interactive and discreet. There will be parts of the wedding day when we will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done, while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that we're there.
Q. Do we need an engagement session?
Engagement sessions are not required but highly suggested. Engagement sessions are a time for us to get to know each other in person before your wedding day. Wedding day, we'll be showing up as familiar faces rather than meeting for the first time.
