Lisa and Brody were married on August 16 at Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh, a venue known for its bold style and modern elegance. Their day was full of joy, bright color, and meaningful moments that reflected not only their relationship, but also the people closest to them.

Getting Ready and Bridal Party Moments

One of the details I loved most about Lisa’s morning was how she chose to include her friends. While she kept her bridal party small with just her maid and matron of honor, she also invited her closest girlfriends to get ready and take photos with her before the ceremony. It was such a thoughtful way to honor those relationships while still keeping the wedding party intimate. Surrounded by champagne-colored dresses and laughter, the energy in the room was warm, fun, and filled with anticipation.

Ceremony at Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh

The ceremony took place inside Hotel Monaco, with the room transformed by vibrant florals from The Farmer’s Daughter. Shades of pink and coral created a cheerful but elegant backdrop as Lisa and Brody exchanged vows. Her father, Greg, later shared a toast that balanced humor with heart—joking about golfing with Brody while also speaking about Lisa’s contagious smile and the way it can light up a room. It was one of the most memorable parts of the day.

Portraits Downtown & on the Rooftop

After the ceremony and family formals, we slipped away for a short portrait session with just the two of them. We kept it simple, spending about twenty minutes together capturing relaxed, joyful photos. Later in the evening, we snuck up to the Hotel Monaco rooftop for a few more portraits at sunset. These images feel especially timeless—soft, romantic, and full of happiness.

A Reception Full of Joy

The reception was a true celebration. With planning by Blissful Occasions, music from Loyalty Entertainment, and a stunning cake from Bethel Bakery, the evening was filled with energy. Lisa and Brody’s first dance was one of my favorite moments—they were so visibly happy, and the joy on their faces reflected exactly what the day was all about. From heartfelt speeches to a packed dance floor, it was a night no one wanted to end.
