Friday evening I met up with the Funk family to kick off the Memorial Day Weekend, capturing some sweet memories, braving the bugs and most of all – the heat! Hopefully it’s safe to say Summer has arrived. Ryleigh Mae was the most precious thing with her red hair and her darling baby blue eyes. Alicia had told me, Ryleigh loves animals so I am SO happy the horses made an appearance for her. Ryleigh even got to have her first feel of grass – it was a great way to start the holiday weekend.
Story and Tori, our new horse friends, followed us all along the fence line – trying to make their way in front of the camera. They succeeded and I was happy to capture it.
This sweet girl was loving the camera, and it loved her right back!
Ryleigh loved being up in the sky, she just smiled and smiled. Such a happy girl!
Just look at the way she loves her Mama and has eyes for her Daddy, it’s enough to melt your heart!
These pictures are a favorite! She loved her tootsies on that tractor tire and that old Ford made her eyes pop even more!
Cody was happy to step back and let his girls get some pictures.
Thanks for hanging out with me, Funk family! I had such a good time walking around with you guys and meeting your sweet Ryleigh Mae (if you can’t tell, I LOVE her name – it flows perfectly). This is no doubt, one of my favorite sessions to date. I couldn’t stop smiling when going through these pictures. Warm weather, gorgeous horses and a beautiful family with so much love for each other and the sweetest baby girl – what more could a photographer ask for?! I would be more than happy to have you guys again!
